These three days of performances and presentations of rare films by Tatsumi Hijikata involved performances by Kazuo Ohno, Yoshito Ohno, Min Tanaka and numerous others. Maureen Fleming performed her original butoh inspired work 'Axis Mundi' and was the only foreigner invited to perform in this memorable event. Tears fell on both sides of the stage. |
